Hi I'm Janice

I'm a Mother of four, a wife, a sister, a friend and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college graduate, I visited Jerusalem for six months with BYU Eastern study abroad program. I love to travel, I love the water, love pets and love my little Family. All I ever wanted when I grew up was to be a mother. Now I am married with four children. I struggle everyday to know what is best for each one of them in this beautiful, but scary world. I have help! The knowledge and example of the Savior Jesus Christ tell me how I should be and how to guide my children. I love my family and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I can have peace and joy even during the turmoil in the world today and YOU can too.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love my Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ. The Love and sacrifice given for all mankind is hard to comprehend at times. By continually studying the scriptures, attending church and getting back up each time I fall, I will learn how to be happy, gain peace and have joy in this life and in the life to come. With continued perserverence, I can return to live with our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ and my own earthly family that I have now. That is the greatest goal, for all to return and be together, never to be apart for the Eternities. This can only happen if I do all I can during this life to learn, and teach my children, to desire to follow Jesus Christ and to follow His teachings. The scriptures tell us what we are to do and how we are to be like the Savior. With a true desire and commitment we are promised that we will have help along the way. The Comforter or Spirit of God will be our companion to help guide us through this life. We will all make it back to His presence, if we follow the Plan of Jesus Christ. It is up to each of us to desire, commit and act on it. To learn more contact LDS Missionaries. Allow them into your home and heart. This knowledge of Jesus Christ Plan to return to Him will change your life, every generation that came before you and all generations to come after you.

How I live my faith

I want peace in my heart and in my home, but that can be hard to find in this world day to day. The only thing that gets me trough hard times is prayer. I pray all the time! Sometimes hour by hour or minute by minute. The knowledge of Jesus Christ's role in my life, in every life on this earth, as Our Savior and Redemer is humbling. The comfort this brings to me, softens my heart and inspires me to follow Jesus Christs' examples of how to treat others with love and gentleness, and how to pattern my own life. As the saying goes, "practice makes perfect", right? I need to practice alot! I attend church regularly. At church I teach a primary class of five year olds, about what our Savior, Jesus Christ wants us to learn and do in this life to be happy. I am realizing that I am taught the most through this opportunity. It is a great reminder to me each week. I am far from perfect but I try to be friendly and helpful to people around me. I talk with my children about how we need to live and treat people, as Jesus taught us through his life and example. Never give up! He is waiting for you to discide, desire and commit. The next move is yours.
