Hi I'm Nicole.

I'm a mother of 4, a wife to 1 amazing man, and a runner of many many miles. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of 4 beautiful, hilarious, and smart children. They keep me busy and I'm grateful for that. If you'd asked me 10 years ago how I felt about running, I would have told you it wasn't for me. Now, I run 9 miles almost every day and I love it! I was a ballroom dancer through high school and college and now I get to teach it. I've lived in 7 different states, and 10 different cities. I was a medical school wife and now am a 3rd year Resident's wife. I love hearing about the different surgeries my husband does to help change someone's life for the better. I love to watch movies and go out to eat with my husband. I love playing games of all kinds. I love to laugh. I love family and the incredible support system that comes with. I love my Savior and am grateful for his gospel. I see many wonderful and exciting things in my future.

Why I am a Mormon

I am so blessed to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I was fortunate enough to be born into this religion. I have felt the power of my Savior's love for me from the time I was a small child through my life today and I know that without His church, I would feel an emptiness. I have seen my parents' dedication to this church and the continuous blessings that pour into their lives and I feel that it is undeniable that they've been so blessed because of their faithfulness in our Heavenly Father's church. I have had many answered prayers, have felt of the warm burning in my bosom when asking if the teachings of this church are true, and it is something I can not deny. I know that my Heavenly Father and Jesus love me, are aware of my needs and what I am capable of. I know that they have a plan for me and that if I follow their commandments, like my parents on earth have taught me to do, I will reap the immeasurable blessings that are in store for me. I believe in the structure of this church, I believe in the history that we teach, and I believe that this, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, is the only true church on the earth today and I am so blessed to be a part of it.

How I live my faith

I am far from perfect at living my faith but oh how I'm grateful for the power of repentance and being able to learn from my mistakes and continually progress. I am blessed to serve with the youth of the church, ages 12-17, and think they have taught me more in the past 6 months than I could teach them in years. They inspire me, build me up, and impress me daily. I am able to meet with them twice a week and we talk about ways to live righteously throughout their school years and beyond. We hold activities to do service projects, game nights, teaching lifelong skills, and build friendships that last forever. I am able to visit a couple women in my church once a month to check on them, see if they need help with their children, their homes, their lives in any way, and build friendships that are extremely meaningful.
