Hi I'm Steve

I’m a husband and a father of two children. I'm a creative director for a college sports network and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I’m a husband and a father of two children. I’ve been married for over 11 years. I’m a graphic design major and I work as a creative director for a college sports network. I love graphic design and I love working in television. I have been working in television for about 7 years now. I love spending time with my family and vacationing on the beach. I also enjoy waterskiing, wakeboarding, snowboarding, skiing, tennis, gardening, cooking and playing the guitar.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a mormon, and I am so thankful that I was. I don’t know where I’d be without the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In a world with little or no moral compass, it’s nice to be affiliated with something that stands for something that is right, true and honest...despite what the world thinks. For my family the mormon church has been an anchor to help teach our children correct principles of honesty, morality and righteousness. I’ve seen the gospel change peoples lives, including my own. I’ve seen the joy people receive when they learn and understand that God has a plan for each of us and he knows and loves each of us. He sent his Son, Jesus Christ to pay the price for our sins, so we can be forgiven. This life is not the end, there is a purpose, and our families can be together forever. This is the gospel of Jesus Christ, this is the “good news.” When it comes down to it, I’m a mormon because I have felt the Holy Ghost confirm to my soul that this is Jesus Christ’s church and that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I’ve had these impressions of the Spirit many times in my life and I feel this testimony confirmed every time I go to church.

How I live my faith

I’ve found I’m the happiest when I’m serving others. Sometimes the service I’m providing may be small in some peoples eyes, but it can make a big difference to the people you are serving. The feeling you get when you help others is unexplainable.
