Hi I'm Libby

I'm a mother, a wife, a daughter, a sister, an engineer, and a small business owner. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of 4 daughters. An engineer by training, I decided after my 2nd daughter was born to become a stay-at-home mom. I feel this is one of the most important choices I've ever made. I love my children and I learn so much from them about myself and my capacities. Because of them, I've learned how to enjoy cooking, gardening, teaching, and cleaning, though I'm still working on learning to enjoy laundry. I love to curl up with a good book, in my "spare time".

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. But just like anyone else, I've come to know for myself that the principles taught by this church are true. For me, this knowledge didn't come in a single experience. It has come from years of studying scriptures, praying, serving, and putting into the practice the principles that I learn at church every Sunday. Because of my membership in this church I am a better wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend. My faith brings me peace in these difficult times.

How I live my faith

I try my best every day to simply be a disciple of Christ. I try to treat others as He would treat them. I try to teach my children as He would teach them. I serve in the Church and in my community. I served a mission for the Church to Japan. It was a life-changing experience for me. I gained not only a great love for the people of Japan, but for all of God's children. I currently serve in the Church teaching the very young children (18 months to 3 years) and love it! When possible, I volunteer at my children's school and just try to be a good neighbor and friend.
