Hi I'm Jason

I'm a law student, hiker, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a hiker, biker, stand-up comedian. I like to make youtube videos with my cousin. I am currently attending law school at Creighton University. I love to travel, I have lived in five different countries and traveled to eight. I love history, philosophy, geography and psychology and I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm Mormon because I feel that in this church I have a closer connection to Christ than anywhere else I've looked. This is not to say that I haven't found good, spiritual truths outside in science, philosophy, other faiths and even other Christian faiths. We Mormons believe that everyone is a child of God, that there is good in all of us and I have found this to be true as I have treasured truths I've learned everywhere. But as I've searched for truth I have not found a book that has taught me more about who my Savior is, and how infinite, eternal, complete, personal and real his sacrifice for me is as well as the Book of Mormon. If you don't believe me I'd challenge you to read it. I have also felt Christ play a bigger role in my life as I've learned other teachings of modern Prophets and Apostles. These teachings have changed my live, give me strength in hard times, optimism in dark times, and vision of what more to do in good times.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to allow Christ into my heart and let that seep through to the rest of my life. I get spiritually nourished through the scriptures and weekly attendance at Church meetings, and then my faith encourages me to go out and serve others. One of the things I love most about my church is that if provides so many opprotunities to serve other people.
