Hi I'm Kelli

I was born and raised in UT. Currently I am a stay at home mom. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and proud mother of an amazing boy. I recently decided to exit the work force from financial/banking which I have over the last 15 years. I love staying at home with my son. We have had an awesome summer hanging out and enjoying the AZ sun. Now that he has started high school I spend my days cleaning the house and getting in some reading time. I love to read, crochet, scrapbook and be around my family. As a family we love to get together for Sunday dinner and play games everything from cards to board games. These are the best of times to just get together watch the kids, visit, and laugh.

Why I am a Mormon

While I was born into the LDS church that is not the reason I am still active today. I have grown up reading the Bible and Book of Mormon. At an early age I knew who my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are. Believing in them has always come naturally to me. Where we came from and why we are here, that has always made sense to me. I have always enjoyed reading and studying the scriptures. Through the scriptures my testimony of my Savior Jesus Christ has grown. To study his life and his teachings in my life and to apply them into my daily life is truly a blessing in my life. This gospel is one of happiness! I like all teenagers went through my "rebellious" times. During that time and as I returned to the Church I realized how deep my testimony was of my Savior Jesus Christ and all he did for me when he took upon himself the sins of the world so that we have the opportunity to repent and return our Heavenly Father and family again one day. As it states in Mosiah 2:17 "When ye are in the service of your fellow beings, ye are only in the service of your God" What better way to live your life than in service. As the Savior said in John 13:34 "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another." What better way than to spend time than to serve my family and friends. I know that my Savior Lived and still lives today. I am so grateful for all he did for us so that we are able to repent and return to him and our Heavenly Father. I know that Joseph Smith was a latter day prophet who saw God the Father and Jesus Christ by heading the scriptures promise James 1:5 "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him." As I have prayed and asked God he has always been there for me and leading me in my life. I am so thankful for the gospel in my life and my knowledge of my Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ. Amen.

How I live my faith

I enjoy going to church each Sunday. I love to go and partake of the sacrament and think of the covenants I made with my Father in Heaven when I was baptized. Through the years I have had the opportunity to teach the young children as little as 18 months and on up. It is so fun to watch these little ones when asked where Jesus they are able to recognize his picture immediately. I have also had the opportunity of teach the Young Women 12-18. There is no greater joy than sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ to the youth of today. To talk with them and watch as they grow and learn and apply the gospel in there lives. Each month as I go out to visit the women I have been assigned I am able to serve them and I get to learn more about them and help out as needed. I enjoy the friendships that I have gained by visiting teaching each month.
