Hi I'm Linda

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Utah and I am happy.

About Me

My name is Linda and I'm a Mormon. I am married to a wonderful man. I have four children that are all married to great people and I have two grandchildren. I am currently finishing my last year of college and learning Italian. I love to read, travel, make gingerbread houses and walk with friends. Spending time with my family is my favorite thing in this world. I love people and I am happy.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a LDS (Mormon) family. I grew up believing what my parents taught me and most of my friends were LDS. It all made perfect sense to me. When I went to college there were a lot more people in my life that weren't LDS. I was more aware of many different religious beliefs held by very good, intelligent people. No one was telling me what I should or should not do. I decided I needed to gain my own testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, so I did. I studied the scriptures, including the Book of Mormon, talked to religious leaders and prayed. It was after I became a mother that I truly had no doubt of the truthfulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. When you know a church is led by Christ, how could you not be a member?

How I live my faith

I have served many years and in many ways in the church. What an experience - to work with ages 1 to 100. I've had the opportunity to spend many years , teaching, camping, playing with, working with and learning from teenagers. My last several years have been spent teaching, serving, and serving with the adult women in our church. I try to live my faith by doing good every day. I'm far from perfect, but I try to be a good example of living a Christ centered life.
