Hi I'm William Evans

I love the outdoors and jogging. I'm a graduate student and I spend my time reading, reading, and more reading. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a graduate student working my way to become a teacher. I love school! I spend my time reading almost everything i get assigned. When I'm not reading I love writing or singing. Music is a huge part of my life and I rarely have time where there isn't some song going through my head. When I get the chance I work out. I love jogging and lifting weights and I try eating healthy but I'm afraid I'm still a sucker for brownies and ice cream--and pizza, oh I love pizza.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I believe that the Book of Mormon is true. It isn't some elaborate hoax created by a child in New York--it is a document with historic value. the greatest thing this book has shown me is that God has taken an active role in the lives of every human on earth. He doesn't just care about people in Jerusalem, and his love is certainly not limited to race or gender, and it certainly isn't limited to a certain period of time. Because God cares about us as much as he cares about his children that lived at the time of Christ he sent us a prophet. I believe that there is a prophet on earth today and nothing gives me more joy than to think that my Heavenly Father knows what my trials are and what I need to do today in order to have the peace His Son promised us. I don't believe the human Family has ever needed a prophet more than it does now.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by organizing events for my ward. In an effort to get people involved I plan trips, events, dinners, fellow-shipping activities, and really anything that doesn't pertain directly to our worship. My goal is to help everyone develop friendships and build a network of friends on whom they can rely for support and strength. I live my faith by singing. I participate in ward choirs and help others to feel the Spirit of the Lord through song.
