Hi I'm Kevin

I'm a husband and father. I volunteer with the Boy Scouts. I enjoy camping, backpacking, and photography.

About Me

I am married and have six wonderful children including a set of triplets. My oldest son is serving a mission for the church in Chile and loving it. I enjoy being in the outdoors, especially if it includes backpacking or camping. One of my favorite hobbies is photography, especially portrait photography. I work as an IT professional for a large fortune 500 company. Aside from work and family activities, I volunteer as a leader for the Boy Scouts of America.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church but when I was a teenager I decided I needed to find out for myself whether the church was true. One night in high school I was reading the Book of Mormon in my bedroom. I received a beautiful and undeniable witness from the Holy Ghost that helped me know for myself that the Book of Mormon is a true volume of scripture. The more I interact with my own children, the more I come to understand the love that my Heavenly Father has for me. He knows me and wants the best for me, just like I love my children and want the best for them. I'm thankful that he reached out to me that night in my bedroom to guide me in my search for truth. I have had other experiences since then that have also strengthened my faith in Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

In conjunction with my work with the young men in the Boy Scouts during the week, I also teach them gospel topics in a class at church on Sundays.
