Hi I'm Hannah

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 19 years old and loving life. I am a student studying physical therapy and enjoying every minute! I love to laugh, play, and all around have a good time. The outdoors is the place to be in my opinion. I'm down for anything that gets me out! Soccer is my thing. I'm the youngest of two children and have two amazing parents. I'm a convert to the church and the only member in my family. Just a simple girl living out my dreams.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 17, I first began investigating the church. After being introduced to the Mormon religion by some very good friends years ago, I had questions about their beliefs. With the help of my very best friend I began to open up and explore those questions and eventually met with the missionaries. I can remember my first time meeting with them being absolutely afraid! But once they entered, bringing the spirit with them, I was at ease. From that point on I was hooked. I loved learning about Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon. About the Plan of Salvation and Heavenly Father's love for us. As a Christian my whole life I already had a relationship with Christ. I was a devout Christian who loved God wholly! But I never realized how much I was missing. The first Sunday I went to church my testimony of the truthfulness of the LDS church began to grow. There was something indescribable about how I felt that first sacrament meeting and the spirit was something I had never experienced before. The difference was astounding between how I had felt attending church before and in that moment. I knew that I was home. After many lessons with the missionaries my testimony was growing. One night after our lesson, I was very confused. I thought, could this all really be true? Is this where I belong? Is this Heavenly Father's church? Was Joseph Smith a true prophet? I felt lonely, confused, and hopeless. But then i remembered what the missionaries had taught me. Pray. So I did. I knelt down and offered a prayer, asking for the truth. I was overcome with feelings of peace and comfort, an undeniable impression of the truth. In that moment I knew the church was true. That Joseph Smith was a prophet and this was his church. I was baptized a year later at 18, with much opposition from my family. But I knew it was what I needed to do and I have never been happier. The gospel has brought me confidence I never knew I had. Joy, peace, and hope for the future. I know this church is true.

How I live my faith

Every person is a child of God and I try to live my life that way. I love to serve others and give back. I believe in the commandments we have been given from God and strive to live them everyday. I do not drink, smoke, or participate in activities where they are present as our Lord has commanded. Through my actions I hope to shine as an example of Christ and his love.
