Hi I'm Matt

I was born in Utah where my parents were attending Brigham Young University. I live in ID with my wife and 3 boys. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Washington. At 16 I starting working in sales at a sporting goods. At 19 I received my mission call to serve in Barranquilla Colombia where I served for 2 years. That was one of the greatest experiences of my life. What better way can you spend time, than sharing the greatest gift I've received, the gospel of Jesus Christ. When I returned home, I continued in sales, and began to work on a Bachelors degree. Shortly thereafter, I met my wife at church. She had recently converted to the Mormon church. We married in the Spokane Temple 11 years ago. We now live in North Idaho with our 3 lovely boys. I still work in sales, selling dental supplies and equipment. My membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has been at the center of my life. It has shaped me, my family and my goals.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up going to church with my parents who are Mormons. Ay first I just went because that's what we did as a family. Later, as I grew, my belief in the principles of the Mormon church grew. I knew that what I had been taught, was in fact, the truth. The Spirit has confirmed for me that I do belong to Christ's church. I know that my Heavenly Father loves us, and because of that love, he has called a Prophet today to guide us.

How I live my faith

My faith is part of my every day life. In my job I strive do what's right, always. I try to live the golden rule, treating others, as I would like to be treated. At night when I tuck my boys in, we pray together as a family. Monday nights we have a family night where we study the scriptures, sing and do some sort of activity together. We attend our church meetings every Sunday, where I'm a leader in one of the men's groups. I try to read and study the scriptures every day. I do all of these things with the hope that I can return to live with my Heavenly Father, with my family.
