Hi I'm Kelly

I am a wife, a mom, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a patriotic American, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and mother who chooses to stay at home and I am blessed to be able to educate my children. My other interests include reading, going on walks and playing board games. I also enjoy watching live sports, and have started to make exercise a part of my daily life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, but gained my own testimony in my early 20's. I am a Mormon because the principles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints resonate with my soul. I believe our Heavenly Father truly did create each one of us (and everything that lives upon the earth), and as our Creator He desires our happiness. As I continue to learn and really implement gospel truths into my life, my joy and happiness increase. I believe true happiness and joy can only be a part of my life if I align myself with correct principles. Being a Mormon and living the principles of the Gospel help me in this continual endeavor.

How I live my faith

I live my faith, first and foremost, by daily strengthening my relationship with my Heavenly Father through scripture study and prayer. There are times in my life when I'm less consistent than I should be, but I'm always living my best life when I am close to my Father in Heaven. Additionally, I strive to live my faith by helping to create the right kind of family culture within our home to foster Christ-like love and obedience to the commandments. As in any family, we continually have to make adjustments, but it's a matter of constant prayer, reading, and talking wtih my husband. Another way I live my faith is by serving in our Youth organization. I am blessed to work with young women between the ages of 12-18. It is my goal to help them gain their own testimonies of the truthfulness of the Gospel, as well as truly believe they are Daughters of our Heavenly Father. I am with them at church on Sundays, and during the week when we have activities.
