Hi I'm Bill

I'm a Husband, a Father (6), a triathlete, I love to wakeboard and race motorcycles, I'm a Real Estate Broker, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up and live in Airzona (crazy hot in the summer!). I have been married to my sweet wife for 15 years and have been blessed with 6 wonderful children, 5 girls and Timmy. I work hard in Real Estate, and I play even harder. We spend alot of time together as a family, at the lake, at the Dunes, camping up in the mountains or anything else outside. I also love to race anything I can. I began racing mountain bikes years ago, then got into offroad triathlons and recently finished the Saint George Ironman. We have also been doing some adventure racing and loving it. I spend alot of time riding and racing motorcycles, mostly Desrert racing, I love single track! Probably the Highlight so far was the Baja 500 we raced with a 3 man team in 2005. I have been a Scout leader for many years and enjoy taking the scouts on all sorts of high adventure activies.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family who were memebers of the church, however there came a point in my life like most when I began to question what was really true. I was 14 when I had these questions. I decided that I wanted to know for myself. I took the challange to read the entire Book of Mormon all the way through (It took quite awhile I've never been much of a reader). Some nights I struggled to get through one chapter, other nights I was enthralled with the stories. When I got the end I knelt down and prayed. I received my answer in my heart and in my mind. The feelings I had when I read, and the feelings I had when I prayed were incredible and undenieable. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that I become a better person when I read it and live by its teachings. I have had that testimony reaffirmed to me over and over again as I strive to do what my Heavenly Father wants me to. I know that true happiness comes from living the teachings of the Savior and striving to follow his example.

How I live my faith

I think that who you are is more than just what you do on Sunday, living the Gospel of Jesus Christ is something we do everyday. I have been working with the Young Men in the Church and the Scouting program for over 14 years now and love to be with them and help them come closer to our Savior. I think they teach me more than I teach them. We recently got back from a 3 day trip to Havasupi, it was great to hike, swim and play together. But my favorite parts are the firesides we have each night. Talking about what we learned throughout the day that can help us in our lives.

What is the Book of Mormon?

The Book of Mormon is just what is says in the Title "Another witness of Jesus Christ" The Bible is a scriptural account of the people living in and around Jerusalem. It was written by different men called of God to be Prophets, The New Testament begins with a record of Jesus Christ while he lived on earth. I love the Bible and learn much from it regularly. God lead a small group of people out of Jerusalem in 600 B. C. and lead them to the American continent. The Book of Mormon is a scriptural account of this group of people. It was written by different men called of God to be Prophets on this side of the world. It was translated into english by Joeseph Smith. It helps support the Bible as another account of Jesus Christ as Jesus Christ visited these people after his crusifiction in Jerusalem. I love The Book of Mormon, I know it is true because of the feelings I get when I read it and strive to live by its teachings. Anyone who wishes to know for themselves can read The Book of Mormon and ask Heavenly Father if it is true. I'm confident that anyone who asks with a sincere heart will received and answer as I have.
