Hi I'm Jason Christensen

I grew up in El Paso, TX. I served a mission in Brazil. Met my wife in Idaho and now live in San Antonio with my family.

About Me

I love spending time with my wife and children. Playing or watching sports, camp-outs, and road trips are some of our favorite things to do. I have a wonderful wife who makes sure our family and home is in order in so many ways. I am grateful for all she does. We like to goof around and wrestle around the house. On Monday nights we try to always have Family Home Evening which is fun, spiritual, and helps us start our week off right. I am an Eagle Scout with a son who is starting his road to Eagle.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was raised in this Church, I too had to be converted to the Gospel and gain a testimony of my own. I always knew the Church was true, but it wasn't until my mission to Brazil at the age of 19, where I truly received my own personal testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As I've seen in many people's lives both in Brazil and in the various places I've lived here in the United States, the Gospel makes people's lives happy. It gives the hope and understanding of our Heavenly Father's plan for us. I know that Jesus Christ lives and loves everyone. I know the Bible and Book of Mormon are the word of God. When I read the scriptures I feel the Holy Ghost direct my paths throughout the day. I know we have a living prophet to lead and guide us. I know we can speak to our Heavenly Father at any time, any place, and as often as we like and he will be there to answer our prayers in the way that best suits what we really need.

How I live my faith

Through regular Sunday services, Tuesday night Boy Scouts/Youth, and home teaching,we get to actively participate in our church. In our Church we are assigned families to steward and assure that they have the things that they need. Whether it be a monthly spiritual message given in their home, assistance with moving, help for a given task, a blessing for health or comfort, or anything else they might need. I am grateful to be able to serve them and be available when a need arises
