Hi I'm Morgan

Sports are a passion of mine. I love to play them and watch them. I also LOVE dancing in the kitchen while I bake. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a freshman in college and working to get my bachelors in nursing. One day I hope to become a nurse practitioner. I've played the piano since I was 9 although I have to admit I have gotten a bit lax about my practicing these last few years. One of my favorite things to do is write and illustrate children's books. Maybe someday little kids other then my niece and nephew will read them! I dance all the time. I've never actually taken a dance class but whether I'm baking in the kitchen, playing sports, or doing my hair I'm dance all the way through. I try to be a positive person and always look on the bright side of things and I've learned in life that no matter how things are going if I put on a smile my whole attitude changes and it makes for a great day! I also love to read. I'll read anything from Harry Potter to Michael Phelps biography to The Fountainhead by Ann Rand. I view the world as my friend and I want everyone to view me the same way!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised Mormon and for the longest time I only believed it was true because my parents told me it was. I just couldn't imagine that my parents would lie to me about something so important. However I continue to follow this path because I know its true. I have had so many questions answered through His gospel and by reading the Book of Mormon. Anytime life seems dark and I don't feel like I fit in anywhere I just open my scripture and read or sit down at the piano and play hymns that testify of my Savior. Immediately I can tell that everything is going to work out because I know that my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love me. I am a daughter of God and He wants the very best for me. Under no circumstance will He leave me to struggle through life if I'm doing what Hes asked. He knows me better then I know myself and He knows what he wants me to be. I trust that as long as I'm following his plan every bad thing that happens to me will eventually help me become the person I'm supposed to be.

How I live my faith

In my ward I'm a sunbeam teacher so I get to spend my Sundays teaching 3 and 4 year olds that they are children of God and that He loves them. I absolutely love this. Not only do I have the opportunity to help these children realize their divine nature but it helps solidify my knowledge of who I am. I also am a visiting teacher and through visiting other ladies in my ward I've made some good friends, including the person I go with to visit others.
