Hi I'm Bob

Hello, I am a father of three, a husband to a lovely women, a lawyer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to bike, hike, and camp. There is nothing better than sitting around a camp fire with the kids after spending the day in the woods. I also love education. I spent many years obtaining college degrees and I now teach college part-time when I am not practicing law.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe. When I read the Book of Mormon, I feel the comforting spirit of the Holy Ghost. The doctrine of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. I am also a Mormon because of the community of like-minded believers. It is wonderful to watch and participate in so many good works. When someone is down, the Church can help pick that person up. I have helped people find jobs. I have helped people move. I have helped people when they are sick or depressed. But, I have also received the same type of help from others. Having a community to rely on is paramount to surviving this world.

How I live my faith

In my local congregation, I have held many positions. I have served in a community outreach to help people find jobs, improve their resumes, and work on interviewing skills. I have helped "man" the nursery so parents can attend church. I have served as a full time missionary sharing the Gospel of Christ to the people of Baltimore. Currently, I am in charge of group of men. My goals are to help these men become better fathers, more faithful believers, and organize service projects for them.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Mormons do not worship Joseph Smith. Mormons who understand the doctrine know that Joseph was merely a man who was called to do God's work. So, we worship God, in every way possible. Show more Show less
