Hi I'm Amy

Raising 4 beautiful kids with the love of my life and moving all over the U.S.A. with the Army.

About Me

I've been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints all my life. I was raised by loving parents who shared their faith with their children and taught us to value education and be thoughtful, caring people. I met the love of my life at an Institute class in College and we were married over a year later in the Bountiful temple. Together, we have had the joy of bringing 4 children into the world and I love being a full-time Mom to them. My husband is a Pathologist in the U.S. Army, and through the Army, we have had the opportunity to live in different areas of the country. We love just spending time together as a family. I love to plan trips (and go on them), read with my kids, do a little sewing here and there and cook (most of the time).

Why I am a Mormon

From an early age, I was taught the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I was baptized when I was 8 years old, but my faith and testimony continue to grow on a daily basis. I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I love Jesus Christ. I want to follow His example and live by his teachings. There is no other way that I feel could be better to make my way on this Earth. When I pray to my Father in Heaven I can feel that he is listening. I know he loves me, as he does all of his children and I want to live my life in devotion to him.

How I live my faith

As a mother, I feel a great responsibility to live my Faith by teaching it to my children. We pray together and study the Bible and Book of Mormon as a family. I pray on their behalf and seek inspiration from the Holy Ghost to guide me as I care for their needs. We attend church each Sunday as a family, and set aside time each week for special family Gospel study. I also try to help my neighbors and members of our ward. I have had the blessing of being able to teach the childrens classes on at church, as well as helping to bring meals to the sick, or families with new babies. I welcome each new opportunity to serve my Heavenly Father by serving his children.
