Hi I'm Christina

I'm a takler of life, happy wife, a happy mom, a family first kind of woman and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

About me? I suppose I am a typical person in experience to life challenges. Divorce, job losses, moving out of state, starting over several times, missing cherished friends, missing my departed parents. I have found through living life that these things are all counter balanced with blessings and new beginings. All my challenges have helped shape me into who I am today and I like me. Somewhere in my early years I learned to take on challenges with determination and without fear. I am not a perfect liver of life; My approach is more to be a perfect lover of life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in Southern California. I am a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at the age of 16. I had prayed as a teenager to find "God's Church" and soon thereafter Mormon Missionaries knocked on my door. I joined the Church alone and attended services faithfully ever since. My testimony that God is real came much earlier in my life around the age of 8. It was at this time in my life while I was living in a foster home that I uttered my first prayer ( I called them wishes) to know if God was there and if he knew me and my sadness. The answer came in the form of a neighborhood boy who's mother gave me milk, cookies and a childrens bible. Her kindness was the answer to my "wishes" and I knew God WAS REAL and he KNEW ME and my lonliness. Since joinning the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints I have been given the blessing of knowledge of who I am and why I am here on earth. I understand the power of prayer, faith, and the Atonement. I am truly blessed and want to share what I know with anyone who will listen.

How I live my faith

I teach a Sunday School class to 8 year old children. It is a great age. They love my stories and I love sharing them. My personality and natural disposition has always been energetic, as a "matter of fact" verbal communication and straight forward approach. I have always been confident that I knew God and his son Jesus Christ are real. With theses two dispositions combined I find many opportunities to share the Gospel with anyone who is interested.
