Hi I'm Renee

I was raised in Tempe, Arizona on a farm with my family. I have a great family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and mother of five children. I am happy to stay at home and serve my family. I love to be physically active playing tennis, wake-boarding, hiking, and exercise, all with my family. I also like to sew, paint, cook and read. Our children are now in their twenties, two married with one grandchild, and three still at home. I am enjoying spending more time with my husband but finding it hard to let the children leave.

Why I am a Mormon

I am grateful that my parents joined the church before I was born, which gave me the opportunity to grow up in the church. The knowledge of where I came from and the purpose of life and what happens after I die gives me peace of mind. I am grateful for my Savior and his example of how to serve and treat others. The gospel gives me guidelines of how to live my life so I can be happy. My Savior and the atonement has made it possible for me to better my life and give me hope to one day return to live with Him and my Heavenly Father. The scriptures and a living Prophet remind me of the commandments that we should follow. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet and helped in restoring Christ's true church, with the priesthood, back on the earth today. I am thankful to have the Book Of Mormon, another testament of Jesus Christ, and I know it is true. The teachings that are in the Book of Mormon help me every day and remind me of my eternal goals. I know Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live and they love me and want me to be happy.

How I live my faith

I enjoy going to church every Sunday and teaching the youth. I want the children to learn how to be happy in life by following the example of Jesus Christ . Heavenly Father loves us and sent his Son as an example and as a Savior for us because He knew we would make mistakes. We are all sons and daughters of a loving Heavenly Father. Teaching children helps me grow closer to my Heavenly Father and Jesus by studying his commandments and reminding me to be as a little child, humble and teachable. I also visit with three ladies once a month and share a message of the gospel. I enjoy learning about these women and how they are dealing with life and helping them if they are in need.
