Hi I'm Elise
I am an elementary school teacher. I love to travel. I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I just began my sixth year of teaching elementary school kids. I love what I do because I know I'm making a difference one day at a time. I come from a big family - eight siblings! I enjoy traveling and have a goal to one day visit every continent. I like reading, music, dancing, being outdoors, and making new friends.
Why I am a Mormon
I was born to a wonderful Mormon family where my parents and each of my siblings follow the gospel of Jesus Christ. This has been a tremendous blessing in my life. It has helped me to make wise choices that lead me to peace and happiness. I love being a Mormon because I have a sure sense of who I am - a daughter of God with divine origin and divine potential. I choose to continue on the gospel path because I know it is the only way I can live with Heavenly Father, the Savior Jesus Christ, and my family forever. It's not always easy, but there's nothing I want more. I know God intends for each of us to be truly happy, and His perfect plan provides the way.
How I live my faith
As a Mormon, I am able to participate in various service activities in the community. I love the feeling I receive after helping others. This allows me to become closer to people and also to the Savior because I learn to act as He did. I am also able to live my beliefs by teaching a Sunday School class each week during our Sunday meetings. I love studying the scriptures and teaching the class members how we can become better, how we can prepare to live with God again someday.
