Hi I'm Matthew.

I am a pediatric dentist and IT consultant. My wife is my best friend. My family is my life. I grew up in El Paso. I'm A Mormon.

About Me

With four young children my wiife and I are kept quite busy, but we love to serve and give of our time and talents to help others. I am a Pediatric Dentist. I also consult in the IT industry for computer security and comprehensive solutions. I grew up in El Paso, TX. My wife in Eureka, California. We met while we were attending college in Utah. My brother and sister and I grew up in El Paso, TX with my mother, whose life as a single mother, I am happy to report, has been rewarded with a worthy companion. My mothers side of the family are from the Mormon Colonies in northern Mexico. My father's family is from the deep south. My hobbies are restoring old Jeeps, farming, and computers.

Why I am a Mormon

I am one of those people who see absolutely no contradiction between science and religion. I find them complementary. The foundation of my testimony was borne upon observing "truths" of the gospel, and the unmistakable results as an observant child. However, the foundation of my testimony was laid while on my mission, being withness to a mission president who magnified his calling. Being immersed into the lives of others while on my mission, and seeing the realities of life and the effect the gospel had on them, brought me to a point of decision to which I have never and will never depart. I enjoy tackling the ups and downs of life, while reflecting on the lessons learned...being continually amazed at the foresight the gospel provides.

How I live my faith

Realistic and Practical I guess. There is nothing more beautiful to me than the adaptability of the atonement to everyone's life. Our Savior's infinite ability to relate and be compassionate to our individual experiences of life gives me the example I use in trying my best to navigate my life and religion. Friendship is a basis of Mormonism and upon which many of the gospel attributes arise.
