Hi I'm Jeremy

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

The Lord has blessed me with a lovely wife, four amazing children, a great education, and stable employment. As an engineer I find that numbers are fairly easier to manage and that equations are helpful in problem solving. I am in my element when I can turn large amounts of data into decisions. The challenges of life, on the otherhand, are rarely solvable with an equation, but can be addressed through prayer.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I have gained an understanding and testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ and I believe that the Mormon Church is Christ's true church restored to the earth. Life is very difficult to understand, especially for those with a math or science background. Science attempts to define how everything works, but it is a steadily changing definition. The more I learn and experience, the more I am convinced that God is the supreme creator of all things. Faith allows me to work with what I have learned and trust in the Lord to help me with the rest. Here is my equation for life: Love Christ + Keep His Commandments + Put your talents to work = Eternal Life

How I live my faith

The Lord has given His children talents and abilities, and it is our responsibility to utilize them for righteous purposes. My goal is to live a righteous life that is a good example for my children. I want them to be happy and understand the importance of working hard and doing what is right. I try to be a good citizen to my community and a good friend and neighbor to those around me. At church I have a calling as a clerk, where I assist in the financial accounting of ward resources. I also make (hometeaching) visits to a few families to share spiritual messages and ensure their safety and well being.
