Hi I'm Chris

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a young married college student studying at a business school. I have an extremely hectic life trying to balance work and school while maintaining a strong relationship with my wife. When I have time I love to play sports. The sports I enjoy playing the most are volleyball and basketball. When the weather is good I also love to be outside camping or fishing. I am very grateful for the beauty of the earth that we live in and love to spend time outdoors. I am coming close to graduating and looking forward to starting our family. I am very excited about life and all the opportunities to expand my knowledge and to help people learn about the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in the church and have a long history of ancestors who are also Latter-Day Saints. However this is not the reason why I am a Mormon. Through attending church on Sunday, praying, and reading the Book of Mormon I have been testified through the power of the Holy Ghost that this church is true. I also know that God lives and I have a Savior, Jesus Christ. I know he has restored his church back on the Earth and it is lead and guided by his appointed prophets and apostles. Being a Mormon and living the commandments gives me a deep and lasting happiness. This doesn't mean I don't have my own trials but it means that I have a long term perspective and it is a happiness that is incomprehensible. I love being a member of this church.

How I live my faith

To live my faith means action. I am a home teacher for my church. This means I am assigned two or three families to visit every month to be there for support and service. I have the opportunity to also share an uplifting message that encourages them to follow the Savior. I have been taught to sacrifice my time to help others. At my school I am a mentor to younger students who are trying to figure out the path they want to take in school and a future career. I love to serve and being Mormon to me means to strive to serve anyone I come in contact with.
