Hi I'm Daniel

I'm a gamer, I'm a rifleman, I'm an outdoors man and I a Mormon.

About Me

I am a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and I love what i do! I enjoy being outside and being with my friends all the time. My hobbies include competitive rifle shooting and just having fun living the gospel of Jesus Christ with my friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe in this church very strongly. Before I really found myself converted I didn't have much of an identity. I would just walk through the halls of my school hoping somebody would talk to me. Once I realized this I really started to take a look at the church even though i went to church every Sunday I was just going through the motions so I started to read the scriptures more and really find out for my self that this is the true church of God.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a two year mission in the Nevada Las Vegas West Mission and I am loving every moment of it! As youth of the church we can serve a 18 to 24 month mission and help bring people unto Jesus Christ. We do this out of love for our Savior and the love we gain for the people that we serve. I received many scholarships and offers to private schools after high school but I chose to put my life on hold for two years and serve the Lord.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Daniel
Not at all. We have been taught from the Savior Jesus Christ that we need to help anyone who may need it no matter what the situation. We do this because we believe that everyone is part of the human family and we need to take care of our brothers and sisters. We learn this in the Parable of the Good Samaritan, he stopped to help even though the two people hated each other, the Samaritan stopped and helped a man on the side of the road who was close to death and did not care who he was. We can all learn from this story about the relationship we need to have with everyone we meet. No where in any of the scriptures does it say that we are to help only certain people in fact we are to help anyone. Show more Show less
