Hi I'm Erin

I live in Arizona. I am married and the mother of 3 boys and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was married in 2000 to a wonderful husband and have 3 amazing boys who I believe have rowdy built into their DNA which I love they bring so much joy and happiness into our home. I currently work at an Elementary school as a Kindergarten aide and will be going back to school in the spring to get my degree in special education. I enjoy exercising and participating in local charity races. Last summer I competed in my first triathlon. I will try anything at least once. Growing up I was one of those kids that jumped from one hobby to the next but here are a few of the ones that actually stuck: I took piano, art and sewing lessons, I learned how to surf and swing dance. I did play soccer and baseball but found I wasn't very good at it. When I graduated high school I had been excepted into the California Art Institute. I put off going to school to get married and have children a decision I have never regretted. My eternal family is my greatest success.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Mormon faith. My mom was baptized after my dad and here were married. I know that my parents taught me all they could and were a great example to me. Through the teachings of the church I made the choice as a teenager to avoid things and substances that would cloud my judgment. However, as it is with all teenagers there comes that time when I wanted to know as my parents knew that the Church we belonged to was in fact, the true church of Jesus Christ. Its not that I doubted what I had been taught, I just wanted my own confirmation. I had read the book of Mormon before but never took Moroni's challenge to read, ponder and pray if these things were true. The summer right before I went to high school I spent attending youth conferences and BYU education week. I then decided I had to know so in prayer, I asked for a confirmation and I then knew in my heart what I had always known. I knew as I still know and as I will always know that this church is true, the Book of Mormon is true and I will be following Jesus Christ, and will one day return to live with Him, Heavenly Father, and my family forever.

How I live my faith

I do my best to set a good example to my children like my parents were for me. I continue to make the choice I made in high school to avoid substances and I feel complete peace and happiness as I strive to keep the commandments and Word of Wisdom. I have enjoyed serving in my ward as a primary teacher or a Cub Scout den leader. I am currently serving in the Relief Society presidency.
