Hi I'm Brian

I'm a Colorado native and decided to join the church as an adult. I love my family, outdoor activities and serving. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a father of 4, have a wonderful wife and work in Communications. I love the variety in life. I enjoy being outdoors doing everything from kayaking to backpacking. When time allows, I try and sneak in photography, reading, disc golf and several other hobbies. I'm also blessed with the opportunity to do one of my other passions - serving others.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church as an adult - when I was 18. My girlfriend at the time (now my wife) and her wonderful family shared the gospel with me. Their kindness, standards of living and the spirit that spoke of the truthfulness of what I was learning let me know it was true. The rich blessings of family, friendship, service, the word of God (through the Bible and Book of Mormon) and prayer continue to strengthen my testimony today.

How I live my faith

I'm extremely fortunate to serve with the youth in the church in several roles, one of which is as Scoutmaster. The church holds a strong association with the Boy Scouts of America and the characteristics it builds in young men. I also invest a considerable amount of time with my wife and children, teaching where I can and enjoying every minute I can spend with them. Spending time teaching and associating with such great young people is one of the greatest blessings in my life.
