Hi I'm Jason

I'm a father of four great kids, a devoted husband, a project manager and a great cook. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being a father and seeing my kids grow. I enjoy woodworking and recently built a bunk bed for my two girls. My wife and I love to cook and are avid "foodies". We enjoy new recipes and improving family favorites. My kids aren't as enthusiastic but I love expanding our food experience just the same. I enjoy science and reading science fiction. My wife and I are avid gamers! We love a great board game, with the kids or with some neighbors.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it makes me happy, and I want my family to always be close-knit and always together. I grew up going to church with my parents; they have always been a loving and good example and I've learned in life that the source of their sweet life and example is in trusting and practicing Jesus Christ's teachings. I learned when I trust in the Holy Ghost I'm able to see life more clearly and the way to solve whatever problems are in the way. I have a purpose and feel greater happiness when I practice my faith.

How I live my faith

I am the Sunday School president in my congregation. That means I am responsible for the teachers and students and what is being taught. My wife and I hold family night each week and love to hold daily family prayer and weekly activities. I spend one-on-one time with each of my kids, taking them for errands and dessert, getting to know them better and trying to be there for them. I generally try to do what is right, follow the teachings of Jesus and be as good a person as I can be at all times.
