Hi I'm Arch

I'm a husband, a father of five, a former Marine, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of 4 boys and 1 girl and have been married to my wonderful wife for almost 18 years. I served in the Marine Corps for over 8 years, currently work in risk management for a financial services company. I enjoy supporting my children in their various scouts, athletic and other activities. My hobbies include sketching and reading.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up I was taught to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ by my parents and learned the principles that He had established for those who choose to follow Him and become a member of His church. As I grew older I knew that as much as I trusted my parents, I would needed to learn for myself that what I was taught was true. Earnestly studying the scriptures and praying to my Father in Heaven I learned for myself that what I had been taught was true. It was confirmed to me that Christ was and is my Savior, that His church was restored to the Earth, and why there was a need for a restoration to bring back the organization He established when He was on the Earth. I also learned that Joseph Smith was truly a prophet of God, and that he translated the Book of Mormon by the power of God. I know that today, we have Christ's restored church with a living prophet of God who receives revelation to help us know what we need to do to receive peace in this life and to return to God after this life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending my church services and meetings, serving and helping others within the community, and teaching my children how to follow Jesus Christ and live by His teachings. I continue to study the words of God's ancient, latter-day, and living prophets, and to pray to my Father in Heaven. I have found that I feel most at peace when I put the needs of others before my own by providing loving service to them.
