Hi I'm Loree,

and I love learning.

About Me

I have loving parents and grew up tagging after two older brothers. I've lived in Japan, Washington, Colorado, Alaska, Idaho, and Montana. I went to college in Idaho, where I met and married my husband. I love to work and play with my family and friends. I would love to try all instruments and art mediums. I have an immense curiosity about nature, cultures, and lots of other things I don't know. I enjoy exploring everywhere, including caves, waterfalls, and the ocean. I love thunderstorms and rainbows, sunrises and sunsets. If you were to ask my family my biggest weakness, they probably would say that I get REALLY grumpy when I am tired.

Why I am a Mormon

My mom taught me as a child read the Bible to kneel by my bed and pray to God. I know the scriptures are the word of God, and that He hears everyone's prayers. My dad taught me to think for myself, search out truth, and then be true to what I believe. Sometimes the trials, fears, and temptations of this life are so strong. I am grateful for prayer, and those quiet thoughts from the Holy Ghost that guide me when I come to the many crossroads in my life. I know that we are all different, and in different life circumstances, but we all have something in common. We are children of a loving Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

To have a good day, I need to spend time with my Father in Heaven first thing in the morning, reading my scriptures, praying, and writing down what He wants me to do. Then I go to work on my day, trying to do be who He wants me to be. I often fail. I make mistakes. I sometimes have heartache and discouragement in this life. I pray anytime, anywhere. God is always listening.
