Hi I'm Kelsey

I grew up on a farm. I love to play volleyball. I am a wife, and a mother of 4 sweet children. I am a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Kelsey. I was born and raised in a small town in northern Arizona. I have 4 brothers and 3 sisters. My Dad and Grandpa are ranchers, and I had the privilege of growing up in the ranching atmosphere. My younger years consisted of lots of family time, working hard on the ranch, enjoying school and sports and church related activities. After High School I had the opportunity to go to a small school in Illinois and learn about the History of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and take other college courses as well. This was an amazing experience as it brought me closer to my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. In returning from Illinois back to Arizona, I worked with a company in which I was able to travel across the United States and assist in putting on Show Choir events for High School aged groups to compete. Soon after I met my amazing husband! We were soon married in the temple and shortly after, discovered that we were expecting our first child. We've now been married almost 6 years and have 4 sweet children 5 years and younger! There is never a dull moment in our home. I feel so privileged to be the mother of these precious children of God. They are so innocent and excited to experience life. While raising children can be challenging at times, I could not have asked for a better calling in life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and rasied as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. My Mother and Father taught us the values and joy that come from living the teachings of Jesus Christ. My personal conversion has come line upon line, and precept upon precept through the many experiences I have had. I am grateful for the power of prayer in my life. There have been times when I have felt that I had no one else to talk to about issues I was facing. I would kneel down and pray. I know my Heavenly Father listens and answers my prayers. I know he loves me. I know he cares about my needs and who I am. When questions of doubt have come into my mind about doctrine of the church and the Book of Mormon I kneel down and ask if these things are true. My prayers have always been answered and I know without a doubt that this is the only true church of God. I know Joseph Smith saw God the Father and Jesus Christ, and he restored the church in these latter days. The same church that existed when Christ was on the earth. Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon. The Book of Mormon is another Testament of Jesus Christ and gives the teachings and history of the people here in the ancient America's. I know the Book of Mormon is true. I know we have a living prophet today that leads and guides our church through the inspiration of God. I feel so blessed to have this knowledge and to know my purpose in life. I invite anyone who may read this to read the book of mormon, ask questions and pray to know if these things are true. I know God will answer you if you ask in faith.

How I live my faith

I live my faith daily as I strive to live the values and standards of the church and assist in the work of helping others come to Christ. To be more specific, I help in assiting the women in our church by organizing meetings and activities in which women can come together to learn more about the Gospel of Christ and to be part of an organization that strives to better our lives daily. I am also assigned with another woman to visit three specific women on a monthly basis to share a spiritual message with them and assist them with any needs they may have. I also live my faith by striving to raise my children in righteousness. To teach them good standards and the doctrine of the church. I strive to be a good example to those I come in contact with of happiness, kindness and love. We are all children of God who deserve to be loved and be happy. In striving to live my faith I have found true joy.
