Hi I'm Mike

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Michael. I am a father of three daughters and a husband to a wonderful, caring woman. I love to spend time with my family. I enjoy going places and sharing new experiences with them. We love to travel and have vistied every state west of the Mississippi river except North Dakota. As my career has required we have moved from California to Illinois, back to California, and now we're living in Colorado. The once very profitable and lucrative printing industry has seen recent turmoil, putting many out of work. I have just resumed working after being unemployed for over 2 1/2 years. I am grateful to be working again.

Why I am a Mormon

After much study of various religions, I read the Book of Mormon and prayed to know if it is true. I continued to study and gradually came to realize, God was answering my prayers and he let me know of His love and the truthfullness of His gospel. Through all of my life since, I have continued to lean on His great love as He has propped me up in times of great trial and blessed me when I needed help.

How I live my faith

I believe my responsibilities as a son of God include doing for others. When I see others in need, I feel incredible desire to help. I think it's important to remember how the savior served us, did things for us we could not do for ourselves. I try to remember how Jesus refrained from judging others for poor choices they may have made. Following His example, I try to give to anyone who needs my help.
