Hi I'm Jesse

I'm a mining engineer, I love Rugby and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mining engineer by trade. In my personal time I enjoy playing rugby and racquetball. In High School I played rugby for 2 years. I played outside center, fullback and second row. I also enjoy shooting and the responsible use of firearms.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in an LDS home. I tried to live the standards of Christ's gospel, but did so primarily because that was how I was raised. In preparation to go on a Church mission, I was ordained an Elder in the Church. I was ordained in what is known as the Sacred Grove. The Sacred Grove is located in upstate New York near what used to be Joseph Smith's home. In 1820 Joseph Smith had a vision of God, our Heavenly Father, and our Brother, Jesus Christ. I felt the truth of Joseph's account as I knelt in that sacred place. I developed a stronger testimony of the Prophet Joseph Smith, the Book of Mormon and, most importantly, of our Savior Jesus Christ. I went on to serve a mission in the great country of Ukraine. I was able to share my testimony and feelings about our Savior and His restored Church. After returning from my 2 year mission, I met my wonderful wife and we were sealed for all eternity in the Salt Lake temple. I know that we are sealed together and thanks to Jesus Christ and the power of the Priesthood, my wife and I will be together forever.

How I live my faith

I strive to live my faith by adhering to the standards of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I try to treat others as Jesus would and try to be a good example wherever I go.
