Hi I'm Charles

I was born in a small Idaho town. I'm a husband, father, grandfather, business owner and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married and my wife and I have five children and thirteen grand children. We have lived in Utah and Arizona. I am co-owner of a catering company and formally worked in the construction of log homes and private residences. We have lived in Arizona for over twenty years, living in Scottsdale for three years, Tucson for three years and Mesa for nearly ten years. Our children all live nearby in Arizona and we enjoy spending time together as family.

Why I am a Mormon

I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true. Within the church are the ordinances and the Priesthood power which allows our family to be joined eternally together. The church has been invaluable as we raised our family and provided programs, leaders and training that helped our children become responsible adults. I have a strong testimony that Joseph Smith was a Prophet of God and that he saw God the Father and Jesus Christ, His Son, and that through Joseph Smith the true church with all the necessary priesthood power and ordinances were restored to the earth. I also know that we are led by a prophet today. I also have a strong testimony that the Book of Mormon is true and by studying it's pages and living it's teachings a person will find greater happiness and joy. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints provides me with opportunities to give Christ-like service to others. It teaches me the way to live so I can become more like the Savior. It guides me to ordinances and covenants that make it possible for me to someday return to live in my Heavenly Father's presence.

How I live my faith

I have served in a number of callings, including teaching the adult Gospel Doctrine Class in a number of Wards where we have been members. I have also served on the Stake High Council and currently serve as 1st Counselor in the Bishopric of our Ward. Service in the Church is a choice privilege and has brought me much happiness, satisfaction, and joy. Serving others helps me to love them more and see them more as the Savior might see them. We have been greatly blessed by other's service to our family over the years.
