Hi I'm Nathan

I work from home as a computer programmer. I have four children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy running as form of exercise, and to give me time to listen to audiobooks. After each General Conference (where the Prophet and Apostles speak to the world) I enjoy using re-listening to the messages they shared. to help me internalize what the Lord would have me do in my life. I love spending time with my wife and four children - we try to make it a priority to make memories together as a family. We love going boating, camping, and riding bikes.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are Mormon and so I was taught these values throughout my youth. When I moved out on my own to start university I realized suddenly that I had choices to make as I no longer had anyone watching over me. It was then that I truly realized I had my own testimony of the Gospel. I chose to serve a two-year mission in the Paris, France area which further strengthened this testimony as I shared what I knew with other people.

How I live my faith

About three years ago I was asked to serve as the executive secretary for the Bishop of our congregation, or ward. The Bishop of the ward has responsibilities with regards to helping the needy in our area (physical, emotional, and spiritual needs). I help him stay organized with his appointments with members of the ward, and take notes and assignments in meetings with other leaders in the Church in our area.
