Hi I'm Robyn

I am a mother, a teacher, a student and friend. I love the outdoors and I am a Mormon.

About Me

When I was young I dreamt of travelling the world. I was lucky enough to make a good start when I finished school and backpacked through the U.S.A. and Canada. I now understand that travelling is like most good things in life, the more you know, the more you know you don't know! Now with four children, the desire to travel is still there, but the motivation is different. I want my family to be enriched by the differences and beauties of an international community. I want to empower them to be informed, to contribute and to care about those around them.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents both converted to the LDS faith when they were young adults. They lived true to their new standards and raised a small flock of children, one of which is me. I have been surrounded by the standards of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints my entire life and have had a fantastic life thus far, full of dreams, fun and of course challenges. Living a life of high moral and social standards has opened doors of opportunity for me, as well as helping me to develop characteristics that make me stand out from the crowd.

How I live my faith

I am an active member of my church and contribute by volunteering my time organising activities and events for the church. On Sundays after the main service I help to look after the young children. My husband and I teach our children from the scriptures and pray together as a family regularly. We want our children to know of our beliefs by living them. I have a firm belief that the choices we make today influence the opportunities we will have tomorrow. I help others through service where I can, and smile at every opportunity.
