Hi I'm Kurt

I'm a Mormon who grew up in a Mormon family of 8 children in Brisbane.

About Me

I grew up in a large family and as a result I love playing sport and games, camping and most other outdoor activities. I love to sing and play some musical instruments. I have a small family of my own and enjoy spending time with them.

Why I am a Mormon

At a very young age I remember seeing my older brothers and sisters getting baptised, going to church, participating in Mormon activities and it seemed to me at that age that they liked it and were having fun. My family was united and we were close. As I grew up I had the chance to decide for myself if I should be a Mormon. I thought about the positive influence the church had on my family and decided that it was the reason for my family being happy, so I became a Mormon. Through the years I have participated in all of the activities, lessons and conferences the church offers and I have enjoyed them all. The church has helped me become a better person and now I enjoy a happy life with my family living the same principles the church teaches. I love being a Mormon because I understand that I am a child of GOD and that Jesus Christ is HIS Son. I know that through living the teachings and principles of Jesus Christ I can be forgiven and given the opportunity to change and be more like GOD only through the grace of Christ.

How I live my faith

I have participated in church assignments for many years and I believe I have benefitted the most for serving others in those assignments. Some of these assignments gave me the opportunity to teach and serve the youth and adult males of the church. I have also served a two year assignment as a missionary representing the church in New Zealand and the Cook Islands.
