Hi I'm Vivienne!

I'm an Aussie girl, a wife and mother.  I love my country.  I love adventure sports.  And, I love being a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in South East Queensland and I think it's one of the best places on earth! I met my husband 17 years ago and 3 years after that I finally agreed to marry him ;) It was the best thing I ever did.  He is my best friend and we have a lot of fun together.  We love to travel, go exploring, do adventure sports and spend time outdoors.  And we have 6 children who, while they certainly keep us on our toes, make life fun.  I work part-time as a Graphic Designer and I love my job. It's so exciting to make the visual world a more vibrant and beautiful place!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because the teachings of Jesus Christ and his prophets give my life meaning, purpose and direction.  Being a mother and raising a family, especially a large one, can seem so hard at times but the Gospel makes it easier -  it gives me a framework to help me teach my children to be honest, kind, have good moral values and be responsible citizens. It also teaches that there is a nobility in motherhood and joy to be found when we do it right. The gospel also teaches that marriage is ordained of God and that husbands and wives are equal partners who should care for and respect each other. These teachings have helped me and my husband build a strong relationship that will last forever.  Being a Mormon helps me get closer to becoming the person I want to be. It helps me love life and learning, find joy in helping others, find greater personal strength, and embrace my highest potential through continual self improvement.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in lots of tiny, every day ways. I pray to God, thanking him for my blessings and asking Him for things I need help with. I read the scriptures to learn more about God and what he requires of me. I take care of my family and try to teach my children good principles. And I look for ways to help those in need.
