Hi I'm Tina

I'm a Colorado mountain girl, a lover of nature, a photographer, a creator and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was lucky enough to grow up in the beautiful Colorado Rocky Mountains. This childhood taught me to appreciate nature and all that my Heavenly Father has created for me. I love to capture the beauty of things, and people through my lens, which freezes it in time, then allows me to remember what and how I was feeling at that moment. I get to be a stay at home mom to 4 beautiful people, whom the Lord has trusted me with to teach and help grow, so they can return to live with him again. I am married to an amazing man, who does so much for all of us. I love to create and build things, from crafts, to decorating, to pottery, to wood. It's great to see how I can take nothing and make it something. I went to school and got my degree in teaching......I appreciate all that teachers do! Were it not for the teachers that taught us, none of us would be where we are, or even able to read this. And I love the Colorado falls, and winters.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I choose to be. It brings happiness and joy to my life and the lives of my family. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and has a plan for me. I am thankful for my parents, who, when invited to go to a friends house and learn more about the gospel, said yes. Then said yes to the gospel and the happiness it brings by being baptized. I'm and truly thankful for those friends who were not scared to share the gospel with my parents. I still thank my Heavenly Father for their influence in my life. My daily experiences help me grow, they lead me in the right path, and they show me that my Heavenly Father loves me, and I would hate to have to do without that. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by helping teach the youth and children how to rely on our Heavenly Father to make righteous decisions. I help them recognize how the spirit of our Heavenly Father talks to them, and tries to help them stay on the path to once again live with him. I love to help them understand and live what they are being taught. That this gospel is who they are and what they do. That it is a way of life, not just a couple hours a day on Sunday that they come try to do what is right. But that it is all the time. Just like Jesus when he walked on the earth. He wasn't just nice, or kind when people were looking, but it was who he was and what he did.
