Hi I'm Dave

I'm a Phoenix native, President of a trucking company, with five fun loving kids we try to keep up with...and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My absolute favorite thing in the world is hearing my kids laugh. I've been blessed with a great wife and five terrific kids. Our kids are a blast and we all have lots of fun together. They are at great ages and we really wish we could bottle these times (most of them) and preserve them for the future. I am the CEO of a large trucking company and I love what I do. I love the complexities that come with business and the many challenges that keep you on your toes. I try my best to maintain balance in how I invest my time. Wish I spent more time hiking the mountains in Thunderbird Park, but I love the chances I get. My faith is central to everything I do. I find great comfort in the understanding of our Savior’s love for us individually and our Heavenly Father’s plan for our happiness.

Why I am a Mormon

I’m a Mormon because I’ve come to know of the truthfulness of the teachings taught. I have come to know this through the confirmation given to my heart by the Holy Spirit. As I go to church, I continue to feel the spiritual confirmations that come from our Heavenly Father and help me to be a better husband, a better father, and a better man. The association with the great people that are members of my local ward is a valuable source of strength and support to me and my family.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by doing what I know is right and trying to not be as selfish as seems to come way too natural. Through the church, I frequently have opportunities to help and serve others which has been a blessing in my life. We try to have a gospel-centered home where we pray together and share the teachings of the Jesus Christ with our children. In their goodness and innocence, our kids do a lot to help me practice what I preach.
