Hi I'm Jennifer

I lived in 14 house before I was 12. I graduated with a degree in Social Work and I am a mother of six. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of 8 children. I grew up in many western states. Our family moved often. I was definitely a late bloomer! I went to college at Brigham Young University. I served a church mission in Asuncion, Paraguay. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life. I met my husband in Provo, Utah, he is from Mexico, City. We were an unlikely pair but we have made it so far an have 6 beautiful children - seriously they are darling! I enjoy being a mom and don't really make a lot of time for much else. One day I'll re- discover my hobbies, until then I just try not to wish any of it away!

Why I am a Mormon

I know that there is a God. I know that He is our Father in Heaven. He sent His Son Jesus Christ to show us and teach us how to live. I know they love all people on the earth. I have felt in my life their influence. I have had special experiences in my life with family members where I have been a part of miracles. I feel a desire to follow Jesus Christ as my Savior. I have felt in my heart a burning and an undeniable feeling about the teachings and doctrines found in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I don't know what I would do without it in my life. Following Christs' teachings helps me so much in all areas of my life. I am trying my best to teach my children the things I know to be true. I feel true joy when I see their reactions and responses to these teachings. I am so grateful to be a Mormon!

How I live my faith

I currently teach a Sunday class once month to the adult women in the church. I visit and send messages regularly to women in the community who may be needing a boost. I try to volunteer in the elementary school as often as possible. I try to participate in community service when possible. I try to be kind. I am very sensitive to how people are feeling and I try to show acceptance and love to all those I meet. The biggest contribution I can make is by raising my children to be responsible, kind, loving adults who will contribute positively any where they go.
