Hi I'm Kelly

I'm a typical guy from the western United States. I'm a father. I'm a husband. I do software testing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father who takes active interest in the activities of my six children. Most of them are out of the home now, but I love hearing about their activities, what they are studying and their plans for life. I love to go hiking in the Colorado mountains. I live in one of the most beautiful places in the world. I love literature, opera and history. I do software testing for a living and have had the pleasure of working with very fine and interesting people.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that God lives. I know that His Son, Jesus Christ, loves you and loves me and that He paid the price for us to return to live with Them in heaven after this life. I have felt of God's love all of my life and I see a little bit of Him in every person that I meet. I believe that we are all God's children, that He has "made of one blood all the nations of men" (Acts 17:26). I am a Mormon because I believe that God revealed his will in times past to apostles and prophets and that he continues to do so today. I am a Mormon because I, like many others in many different circumstances, love God and desire to serve Him.

How I live my faith

My family and I attend worship services each Sunday to partake of the Sacrament (communion) in remembrance and gratitude of the Lord Jesus. Our family begins and ends each day with a joint prayer of gratitude for our blessings and to ask for God's help in our opportunites and challenges. We read together God's holy word for a few minutes each day to learn of Him. We participate in activities and service which build our congregation and community.
