Hi I'm Brody

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm married and a father of two beautiful children. I'm a returning college student studying to become a dentist. Balancing school, family, and church responsibilities makes it difficult to have hobbies, but if I could I would camp, ride quads, and attend sporting events!

Why I am a Mormon

Being born in the church might seem like I might not have a conversion story, but everyone continues being a Mormon based on life's experiences. I remember praying one night if this was still the right thing to do and the answer to my prayer came with such peace and mildness that it was impossible to miss. The answer was, "You already know." There have been countless other confirmations throughout my life that this is God's true church - from my experiences growing up to my foreign mission in Brazil, or from marrying in the temple for eternity to my best friend to seeing my beautiful children born into this world... It's all added up to create such joy in my life that I just cannot deny that this church is true!

How I live my faith

I believe my example is the greatest way I live my faith. People can see my happiness or feel the enthusiastic energy when speaking with me to know that something is different about the Mormon faith; something that leads me to want to become a dentist and serve in the community. I am actively participating in Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society and my college's dental club. I also serve in the church as a clerk. My responsibilities include keeping the church's records accurate and updated. Another great responsibility I actively complete is home teaching - where I am assigned two families in the church boundaries to visit, teach, and ensure their needs are met every month. They have become great friends to me and my family. Following Christ, loving family, serving others, and loving life and all it's twists and turns is how I live my faith.
