Hi I'm Mary

I am the mother of several children and have a wonderful supportive husband. I am a homemaker. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy being a wife, mother and grandmother. I like to cook, craft, read and spend time with my family and friends. I enjoy the sunshine and being outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that were members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints or Mormons. I always felt good going to church and knew that I was a child of God. I relied on my parents' faith as a child but wanted to know for myself. I have studied and prayed and now have a firm testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel. I am so grateful to know that I have a Heavenly Father who loves me and wants me to find joy. He wants all of us to find that joy and happiness. It is comforting to know that I can turn to Him anytime. There are a lot of challenges in today's world. I feel more peace as I live the gospel and strive to follow the example set by the Savior.

How I live my faith

I currently teach the youth ages 14-18 and love their curiosity and valiant spirits as they face many challenges in society. I have been a leader in the church's local women's organization and enjoyed being with dedicated, loving women ages 18 and up in offering service, visiting and working together to improve our homes, families and lives. Each person is an individual and I like to see people's talents, gifts and It is a blessing to attend church and feel the bonds of love as we join together. I played the piano for the children for a few years and cherish those singing time moments. Music can really brighten your day especially when sung by enthusiastic smiling children!
