Hi I'm Jason

I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of two amazing children and husband to a beautiful loving wife. I own my landscaping business called Green Thumb Barbers. I am very diverse in my interests and hobbies. I love old movies, Jimmy Stewart and Hitchcock are the best ones. I do also enjoy current movies as well. I am into Home Theater systems and installing them. I also love Football and Basketball. I am and have always been the biggest MIchael Jordan fan!!! Love him still!! I enjoy spending time with my kids more than anything.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church. My mother was a member and my father wasn't until I was about 11. We went to church off and on as I grew up. I started getting very active and involved in the church after I turned 17. I decided to go on a mission and served in one of the best, Ohio Cleveland Mission. My mission experience really defines who I am today. I can't begin to tell you all that a learned over the course of those two years, and how my testimony and faith grew in the gospel. I came home and met my wife who wasn't a member of the church and who 12 years later still isn't a member but is very active. I have had many, many, many trials over the past couple of years. I suffer from a generalized anxiety disorder that is very challenging at times. I dove into the Book Of Mormon last year when I was going through honestly the roughest patch in my life. My wife went to church one sunday without me and came home and told me that the bishop in our ward was talking about how reading the Book of Mormon daily can make a world of difference. I had numerous nights of insomnia and found myself listening to the audio version while following along in the book to make it through the nights. I can't tell you how much power and comfort I found in my darkest hours in those scriptures. I became determined to get better, and I did for the most part. I am miles from where I was at and it is because of my faith in my heavenly father and his son Jesus Christ. My testimony continues to grow every week because my wife and I have decided to make sure that the missionaries serving in our area our a part of our life. We love them very much and they offer up so much sacrifice for two years or eighteen months. The Book of Mormon contains powerful messages that will help dictate our desires to live and fulfill our heavenly fathers plan.

How I live my faith

I teach in my ward as well as try and help out in any capacity I can. I love missionaries and the work that they do, so I have a soft spot in my heart for them. I keep them in my prayers and thoughts all week, and try in my own ways to help the marvelous work they do. I live my faith by being a constant example to my wife who is yet a member of church. I have such a great desire for her to believe as I do and to have the blessings that come with our faith. I know eventually that she will want to be baptized and we will be married in the temple and sealed to our children.
