Hi I'm Michelle

I am a happily married woman with six children - who are wonderful most of the time. I enjoy a cold Dr Pepper. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother to 2 boys and 4 girls. I am normally a stay home mom, but somehow, I have found a way to work 3 part time jobs from home. I do this to pay for my daughter's dance classes and to help get my family out of debt. I love to read and go to the movies. I love to take a long road trip to see my favorite band play. My husband and I have been happily married for 10 years and celebrated by going to Italy. My oldest 2 children are from my first marriage. Yes, Mormons divorce. Through lots of repentance and forgiveness, I have a wonderful relationship with my ex husband and his wife. I believe because of the respect we have in eachother, our children have had a "normal" life. Divorce is not great, but we have found a way to make it work.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a close relationship with my Heavenly Father. I *know* that I am a Child of God. He loves me and wants me to return to him. I love knowing that there is a way to be with my family for ever and ever. As my grandparents have passed on - and as I see my own parents maturing through life, I have a deep appreciation in knowing that I will see my loved ones again. I am thankful for the Atonement and how it has saved me in my life. I am grateful for the Young Women and Young Men's program in our church. Our teenagers know and feel of our Saviors love.

How I live my faith

I love working with the other women in our ward. Currently, I am serving in the Relief Society Presidency. My favorite callings have been when I've served with the youth. I feel that it is incredibly important that the youth in today's world need to feel loved...and special...and recognized...and important. They are faced with adversity on every corner of life. They need to know that they have cheerleaders in their leaders rooting them on to victory!

Are Mormons Christians?

Michelle
Absolutely. We go to church to learn more about our Savior, Jesus Christ. In every way, we are striving to be more like him. One of my favorite Primary Songs: "Jesus once was a little child. A little child like me. And He was pure and meek and mild. Like a little child should be. So, little children, try to be like Him. Try to be like Him. Try. Try. Try." Show more Show less
