Hi I'm Jennifer

I'm a wife, a mom, a grandmother, I'm kind of clumsy and I can't sing very well, but I am lots of fun, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I married my sweetheart 32 years ago. We are the parents of seven children and grandparents to eight! I love spending time with my family. I love to cook. I love singing with the radio. And dancing. I'm not an author. I've never run a marathon. I've never been featured in a magazine article. I'm just kind of ordinary, but I know that God knows who I am. And loves me.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a member of the Church. I come from a family whose ancestors crossed the plains into Utah. When I was a little girl, I loved going to church with my family. I loved the sense of belonging that I felt as a teenager. I learned for myself, while I was in high school, that this is our Heavenly Father's Church. I decided then, to do my best to follow the teachings and example of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

As parents of seven children, our lives are pretty exciting! When they were all at home, we found ourselves being pulled in lots of good directions, in supporting all of their activities. We did our best to make sure that we had family prayer, ate dinner together and went to church together. We have also tried to teach our children to look for ways to serve others, be kind, and how to laugh and play together, and to be grateful for our blessings. Raising a family is hard work. Having the gospel of Jesus Christ as our foundation, has strengthend our bond as a family, and helped us get through the struggles that come from living in these crazy times.
