Hi I'm Marty Man Smith

I am a father of three and married to my sweetheart for 26 years. I was born and raised in North Mississippi and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am soon to start a new job with GE Aviation in Batesville I love my family! I have 2 daughters and a son and I am proud of each of them. I married a wonderful, smart, and beautiful woman who is my soul mate. She makes me a better man. I like to hunt, fish, and play golf. I have traveled all over the world with the different jobs I have had. As a young man I never dreamed of traveling more than 100 miles away from where I grew up. I love keeping in touch with old friends. I like to cook and experiment in the kitchen. I grew up in a wonderful large family with 7 siblings and great parents. I am grateful for all of my family and the unique qualities each of them possess.!

Why I am a Mormon

I have seen the wonderful things that the gospel of Jesus Christ has brought to my life and my families lives. I have also taken the challenge in Moroni that asks us to read the Book of Mormon and pray to our Heavenly Father and ask if it is true. I have received a testimony that it most certainly is true and it works hand in hand with the bible to bring us closer to the Lord and our savior Jesus Christ. I know that a 14 year old boy truly saw God the Father and his Son and this was the beginning of the restoration of the Gospel in these, the latter days.

How I live my faith

I try to live my life in such a way as to be a good example to all that I meet each day. I serve as the Bishop of our ward in our area and love serving our members and non members as well. We have so many wonderful families that love and care about all people.

Sharing the message of Jesus Christ is something we do out of love for our brothers and sisters in the world who may not know the truths of Christ's Gospel. When you have such a wonderful blessing, you want to share it with the world. Show more Show less
