Hi I'm Chris

I'm a husband and a father. I'm a tech PR and social media professional and history buff. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I’m a husband and a father and wanted to grow up and be both since before I can remember. I’m a dreamer, I’m a geek and I’m an amateur historian. I sometimes dream about living in the 1860s but I very much enjoy the technology of today and my place in the world. I love basketball, archaeology and studying everything I can about religion. I’m a public relations and social media professional and I’m a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

The first members of my family became members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1830. Most of my ancestors came across the plains as Mormon Pioneers or as military during the Utah War, and I have a deep heritage of faithful members of the church as part of that ancestry – including my parents. Because of this, I have been a lifelong Mormon. I easily developed a strong belief in Jesus Christ as my Savior and Redeemer and of the restored gospel as a child – including the Book of Mormon and the Bible. And, as a teenager I found myself studying everything I could about Mormon history, and later about Christian history and later other religious history. The more I studied about various religions the more evidence I felt I gathered showing that what I believed was true and of ancient and divine origin. My beliefs have been strengthened by the many tender mercies of God and answers to prayers that so frequently come from a wise and loving Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

I simply try my best to do what I feel God expects of me as His child in serving others and in teaching, loving and spending time with my family.
