Hi I'm Janna

I grew up in southern California. I went to BYU. Now I am a mother of four. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for ten years.  I have four children. Three boys and one girl. I graduated from BYU with a bachelors degree in Recreation Management and Youth Leadership. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, dancing (I can pretty much beat anyone on Just Dance 2), playing soccer, and reading. I love to go on road trips and seeing new places.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a life-long member of the church. To me, it just makes sense. I know I am a child of God. I know where I came from, I know why I am here and I know where I will go after this life. Families are very important to me. Through the gospel, I know that families can be together forever and I am so grateful for that knowledge. I believe the Book of Mormon to be true. I have read it several times and I always learn something different each time. We have modern day prophets that lead the church today. That tells me that our Heavenly Father loves the people of our day just like He loved people we read about in the scriptures. I can pray to my Heavenly Father whenever I need to and I know he will listen and send his holy spirit to guide and comfort me.

How I live my faith

I have served in my church many different ways. I have taught adult and youth classes, helped plan activities and even worked in the library at church. Right now I work with the 10 and 11 year old girls. I help plan and carry out fun and uplifting activites for them. It is a great calling. These young girls are an example to me. They have such strong testimonies and I admire them for their courage.W I also live my faith by being a wife and mother. I try to teach my kids to live the gospel and to have strong testimonies. We read the scriptures and pray as a family.
