Hi I'm Mary

I'm a mom of 2 with another one on the way, and I have been married to my husband for 10 years. I am a Registered Nurse.

About Me

I was born and raised in Arizona and attended high school and college (ASU) here. I met my husband in 2000 and we dated for almost a year and then married in 2001. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and I LOVE being a nurse . In 2003 we had our 1st child, a daughter, and in 2006, we were blessed with a son. I love my children so much! In my spare time I like to read, help out at the school, take my kids on adventures (we love the zoo!) and go shopping!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a member of this church. To me, it always made sense. I feel like my questions about life in general are always answered through the Gospel and through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Being a Mormon makes me happy. I feel like I am on the right path. When I was a teenager, I wondered if the Gospel was really true. I studied and prayed and my prayers were answered through the sweet peace that the Gospel brings. I know that my Savior and Heavenly Father love me, and they have provided this church to give me direction in my life.

How I live my faith

I teach music to the children! I LOVE making singing time fun and exciting! I love teaching the children through music, because they understand the teachings of Jesus better through music. I also love the visiting teaching program. I get to visit with 3 ladies a month and make sure they feel loved! It warms my heart to bring joy to someone else during the month!
